Frequently asked questions
- Are these PDF tools really private?
- Yes. Every tool on this page runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your files are opened, processed, and downloaded on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or seen by us. You should still follow your organization’s policies when handling sensitive documents.
- Why are they free? What’s the catch?
- There is no catch and no watermark. Because your browser does the processing, these tools cost us almost nothing to run. We build them because people who work with lots of PDFs are often the same people who need SheetRender: turning a spreadsheet into hundreds of separate, polished PDFs.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Each PDF can be up to 100 MB, with a 200 MB combined limit when merging. A source or merged PDF can have up to 5,000 pages, and split operations can create up to 1,000 files. Since processing happens in browser memory, large jobs work best on a desktop or laptop.
- Do the tools work on mobile?
- They work in modern browsers on phones and tablets, but an internet connection is required to load the processing code. Your PDF data is still processed locally. Large jobs work best on a desktop or laptop with more memory.
From one file to a whole batch
When the job is one polished PDF for every row in a spreadsheet, these free tools are not enough. That is what SheetRender is for.
