Frequently asked questions

How do I save only certain pages of a PDF?
Enter the pages you want as numbers and ranges, like 2,5,9-12. The tool builds a new PDF containing exactly those pages, in order, and leaves the original untouched.
Does the PDF get uploaded when I extract pages?
No. Everything runs in your browser. The file is opened, the pages are copied, and the new PDF is assembled without sending the PDF data to SheetRender or another processing server. You should still follow your organization’s policies for sensitive documents.
Can I extract pages from several places in the document at once?
Yes. Mix single pages and ranges freely, like 1,4,10-14,20. Duplicates are ignored and the result keeps the document’s original page order.
Will extracted pages keep their formatting?
The visual page content is copied without intentionally re-rendering it, so fonts, images, layout, and searchable text generally retain their quality. Document-level features such as bookmarks, attachments, metadata, and some interactive form behavior may not carry into the new PDF.
Can I delete pages from a PDF with this?
Effectively, yes. Extract every page except the ones you want gone. For a 10-page file where page 3 should go, extract 1-2,4-10 and download the result.

Need one PDF per spreadsheet row?

Extracting pages is a one-document job. When the real task is producing many documents (a certificate, letter, or invoice for every row of a spreadsheet), SheetRender generates each one as its own polished PDF from the start, so there is nothing to cut apart afterwards.
